We are looking for an enthusiastic GRM to join our Client Service function and serve as the primary point of contact, to further enhance customer experience, foster client loyalty, and drive business success in the region.

Responsible for:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies, financial authorities, and relevant government agencies in Austria.
• Monitoring and analyzing Austrian and EU regulatory developments related to crypto, digital assets, and virtual asset service providers (VASPs), including MiCA, AMLD, and local FMA policies.
• Representing Bybit in regulatory dialogues, roundtables, and public consultations in Austria.
• Collaborating closely with Bybit’s global Legal, Compliance, Product, and Strategy teams to ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements.
• Supporting Bybit’s licensing, registration, and compliance efforts in Austria and contributing to the broader EU compliance roadmap.
• Identifying potential regulatory risks and opportunities that could impact Bybit’s local operations and user growth.
• Managing communications with legal counsel, compliance consultants, and policy experts as needed.
• Enhancing Bybit’s brand and credibility in Austria by engaging in public policy discussions, whitepaper contributions, and participation in key blockchain/fintech events.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have 3+ years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, legal, or compliance—preferably in fintech, crypto, or traditional financial services.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Austria’s regulatory landscape, including FMA guidelines and EU regulations such as MiCA and AML directives.
• Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills when interacting with regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Are highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Have experience engaging with Austrian regulators or working in public policy or government advisory roles.
• Can translate complex regulations into practical business actions and risk assessments.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field. A Master’s or legal qualification is a plus.
• Are fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).
• Are based in Austria and familiar with the local policy and business environment.
