Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an Outsourced Business Analyst – QA Consultant with specialized experience in Finastra - Fusion Loan IQ to support system implementation, configuration, and testing. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of Loan IQ modules, SDK development, data model, interfaces, and end-to-end syndicated loan processing. This role combines business analysis, system testing, and quality assurance to ensure successful delivery and operation of Loan IQ-related enhancements and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan IQ System Expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Finastra – Fusion Loan IQ.
- Deep knowledge of Loan IQ data dictionary (version 7.7.X), framework, and SDK scripting.
- Configure and test Loan IQ functionalities such as:
- Inquiry scripts, event management, scripted APIs & batches.
- Nightly batches, pricing, accounting, accruals, and GL generation.
- MX Payments, RFR functionality, and online/batch accounting.
- Proficient in Loan IQ modules: Deal building, Facility, Portfolio, Payments, Circles, Swaps, Collateral, Ticklers, Trade Ticket Entry, etc.
- Experience in resolving interface and functional issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
Business Analysis & QA:
- Analyze and review Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and translate them into functional specifications and test cases.
- Prepare, execute, and manage test plans for SIT/UAT, regression, and integration testing.
- Document defects, manage the defect lifecycle, and track testing status and metrics.
- Work closely with QA teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure solution quality and alignment with business needs.
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on skills in:
- Core Java/J2EE, XML, and REST APIs
- Oracle DB – packages, stored procedures
- System integration with core banking and related platforms
Support & Documentation:
- Coordinate with developers, analysts, and vendors for system design and validation.
- Assist in drafting user manuals, training material, and standard operating procedures.
- Document system changes and business workflows.
- Ensure all work adheres to data confidentiality and protection standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in banking systems and IT implementation, with at least 3 years in IT QA or business analysis roles.
- Strong exposure to Loan IQ and loan administration systems.
- Understanding of banking workflows, loan lifecycle, and system integrations.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business process mapping and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle tasks with commitment and responsibility.
- High standards of data protection and confidentiality.
- Strong teamwork, planning, and customer service orientation.
