Job Title: Senior Banking Test Analyst / API & Digital Banking QA Specialist

📌 Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Banking Test Analyst to support testing and validation of digital banking solutions, including corporate and retail internet/mobile banking platforms. The role focuses on API testing, SIT/UAT execution, and ensuring high-quality delivery of banking applications aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

🎓 Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 8+ years of IT experience in Banking domain
• At least 4+ years in Digital Banking implementations:
• Corporate Online Banking
• Retail Internet/Mobile Banking
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in API / Open Banking testing
• Experience working with core banking systems such as Equation
• Strong exposure to Payment systems and SWIFT standards
• Proven experience in SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Analyze Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Perform SIT, UAT, and regression testing for banking applications
• Conduct API testing (Open Banking APIs) and validate integrations
• Ensure complete test coverage across all business and technical requirements

2. Requirements & Analysis

• Review and validate BRS and functional specifications
• Prepare technical analysis documents aligned with business needs
• Track and document changes to business requirements

3. Defect & Incident Management

• Manage defect lifecycle (logging, tracking, retesting, closure)
• Provide execution status reports and testing updates
• Support production incidents and investigations
• Coordinate with development teams for timely resolution

4. Banking & Payments Validation

• Validate payment flows and SWIFT transactions
• Ensure compliance with banking standards and regulations
• Support core banking integrations (Equation or similar systems)

5. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
• Prepare user documentation, procedures, and training materials
• Assist in defining business cycle specifications and system outputs

6. Governance & Compliance

• Ensure data protection, confidentiality, and compliance with banking policies
• Adhere to bank ethics and code of conduct
