IT Manager COE - Technology

DP World is hiring! We are looking for an IT Manager COE - Technology who will be responsible for managing overall demand, regional strategy, and ongoing sustenance support of Information Technology and Digital services for Contract Logistics in Center of Excellence Technology, consistent with Group Technology strategic direction. This includes maintaining an understanding of financial, technological, business and industry trends and its applicability to DP World Regional goals and objectives. Incumbent to the role is maintaining awareness of future customer growth areas and managing the evolution of the application solution set in-consideration of future opportunities.

How You Will Contribute

• Drive future Application modernization and standardization in alignment with the Business Roadmap for the Region and COE.
• Lead team responsible for IT sales submissions and successful handover to the IT Launch team.
• Accountable for business demand for Contract Logistics operations and collaborating with Global shared services and Group Technology Head Office.
• Execute IT policies including information security and data privacy for your region to ensure compliance.
• Drive business alignment to Group Technology strategy and approved application portfolios, technologies, and use of approved vendor partners.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Master’s degree in computer science, business administration, or information systems –OR- a combination of equivalent professional training and certifications, combined with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in a multi-national environment and in a position(s) with increasing responsibility and supervisory duties may be accepted.
• Leader experience in design and delivery of complex supply chain logistics required.
• Strong IT background required with broad exposure to IT solutions design and delivery of high end/high volume/complex solutions deployed on a continental / international basis.
• Experience and understanding of enterprise architecture and software systems relating to the provision of 3rd party logistics solutions and integration to Customer systems and local automation/leading edge technologies (AGV/Wearables/Conveyor/PLC driven systems).
• Experience in the contract logistics industry across multiple industries, including but not limited to supply chain delivery in fulfilment & warehousing, automotive, technology, industrial, consumer, retail, health care, high complexity manufacturing logistics.
• Flexible to travel up to 25% of the time across the globe to our operations and regional offices to conduct meetings and support new business operations.
• You speak and write fluent English & Romanian– additional languages are a bonus
