IT-Operational Technology Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d)

As the IT/OT Technology Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating IT/OT infrastructure in a live production environment in order to ensure system reliability, support shopfloor users, and contribute to the secure and efficient operation of our production systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT/OT systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• production incidents swiftly to minimize downtime and meet SLAs.
• Provide direct support to shopfloor users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Execute routine operational tasks such as backups and patching.
• Train users on new systems and maintain clear documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and application projects.
• Enforce cybersecurity and data protection standards.
• Integrate systems into the IT landscape, including domains, networks, and firewalls.
  
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience, ideally in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux, networks, storage).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization and Active Directory.
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to support 24/7 environments and participate in on-call rotations.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
