System Engineer

System / Network Engineer | Antwerp | Hybrid | Freelance or FTE

We are looking for a System / Network Engineer to Join an expert at the forefront of OT Security, where you'll design and secure the backbone of critical digital infrastructure.

As a Senior System and Network Engineer OT Security, you'll take ownership of network architecture, security implementation, and systems integration in industrial settings. Your work will directly support the resilience of essential operations across energy, transport, and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure OT networks and systems
• Configure and maintain network components in industrial environments
• Collaborate with security teams on threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
• Integrate OT systems with IT infrastructure while maintaining segmentation and security
• Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance in real time
• 2 to 3 days onsite in Antwerp office

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems/network engineering, ideally within industrial or critical infrastructure environments
• Strong experience with OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA), industrial devices, and SCADA networks
• Fluent in Dutch and English
