Software Developer (Digital Solutions)

Horizon, a subsidiary of Boyner Group, aims to bring a new perspective to the retail sector with innovative solutions. We are looking for a Software Developer who will take an active role in every phase of the pre-order product lifecycle. This role focuses on product information management, seamless integration of data flows, and continuity of communication across systems. The ideal candidate will work on building and maintaining technical infrastructures that manage high-volume data, ensure system integrations (PIM, ERP, e-commerce), and accelerate the go-to-market process. This is a critical position aimed at enabling reliable, complete, and timely processing of product data across the pre-sales journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop software requirements during the pre-order phases of the product lifecycle
• Design and implement robust data flows between systems using messaging infrastructures such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Develop microservices and API-based applications using .NET 8+ and ASP.NET
• Manage structured and unstructured data using SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Ensure seamless integration of developed services with PIM, content management, and e-commerce platforms
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and contribute to CI/CD processes
• Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and foster a culture of knowledge sharing
• Manage and optimize high-throughput, concurrent workflows and distributed transactions
• Integrate AI technologies into business processes when applicable
• Collaborate with DevOps teams and work on container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and tools like Docker
• Support modernization initiatives in software architecture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience with modern software architectures and microservices
• Strong command of .NET 8+, ASP.NET, and experience developing cloud-native solutions on Azure and/or AWS
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes (minimum 3 years)
• Experience working in hybrid environments (on-premise & cloud)
• Knowledge of test automation tools and monitoring systems
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies in version control systems
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with network, firewall, and load balancer concepts
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and familiar with Agile project management methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and research skills
• Eager to learn, open to self-development, and highly responsible
• Good command of English, especially for understanding technical documentation
