2. JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join the Finance department. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring to drive business decisions and support strategic financial planning.

This role requires a strong background in financial modeling, data visualization, and report automation. The analyst will work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and actionable insights that support financial health and business growth.

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor financial performance and business health.
• Conduct deep-dive financial analysis to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data workflows for finance operations.
• Collaborate with finance and business units to interpret financial trends and recommend action plans.
• Analyze variances between actual and forecasted data and identify key business drivers.
• Provide insights on revenue streams, cost optimization, and profitability trends.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across financial systems and reports.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests from CFO and senior leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Reports directly to the CFO.
• Works closely with accounting, budgeting, and operations teams.
• Collaborates with IT/data teams to align on data architecture and integration.
• Interfaces with external auditors and compliance teams during financial audits.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Certification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Financial Analysis is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in a high-level data or financial analyst role.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial metrics.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
