A leading asset manager is hiring a Senior React Developer to lead front-end development efforts across a suite of modern web applications supporting trading and portfolio management. The firm values technical craftsmanship, with a focus on scalable design, elegant user experience, and reliable code delivery.

This position is ideal for a senior engineer with a passion for frontend technologies who also enjoys mentoring others. Prior experience in financial services or trading environments is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive and performant React-based user interfaces.
• Oversee a team of junior UI developers, setting coding standards and ensuring quality delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and back-end engineers to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
• Champion modern engineering practices including TDD, component reusability, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide UI architecture with a pragmatic focus on functionality and maintainability.

Salary Range: up to $250,000 + Bonus

Requirements

• 7+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript and strong experience with React (hooks, context API, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring front-end teams.
• Understanding of front-end performance optimization and browser rendering mechanics.
• Familiarity with TDD, Jest, Cypress or similar tools.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design systems.
• Prior exposure to the finance domain, especially trading platforms or asset management tools, is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
