Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

· Write and maintaining reliable Ansible code to manage Infra structure.

· Create and manage K8s workloads

· Setting up load balancers for different workloads of some teams

· Identify and fixing bottlenecks and bugs in Infra on regular basis.

· Strong collaboration with development teams to manage their deployments

· Infrastructure support for Linux based vms

· Incidents on Infrastructure

· Infrastructure support for K8s workloads

· Documentation and planning the downtimes to patch and harden the VM’s with controls defined by ASML IT Security

· Infrastructure monitoring and prevention

· Automation of Infra activities

· Executing the Patching and Hardening activities

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT and/or Engineering. Master’s degree a plus.

· 8+ years of experience in IT Industry

· 5+ years as a Infra specialist

Skills

· Advanced Network and connectivity skills

· Expert in managing several infra components with automation in mind

· Experienced with ArgoCD

· Expert in Docker, Kubernetes, Linux OS

· Expert in containerizing applications

· Advanced Ansible orchestration skills

· Demonstrated “team player” with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills

· Proactive, result driven, and demonstrate ownership and accountability

· Self-learner and ability to teach/coach other colleagues on Infra knowledge

· Very good communication skills in English

Other Information

· This position is located in Eindhoven and works on a hybrid schedule: at least 3 days onsite.

· Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
