Job Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Cybersecurity Analyst who will focus on vulnerability analysis and reporting through the Qualys platform. This role sits within the System Controls and Monitoring Team and plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s IT environment. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise in cybersecurity alongside a thoughtful, analytical approach to access hygiene and compliance enforcement. Responsibilities

Primary Function – Vulnerability Analysis and Reporting

• Perform regular vulnerability scans using Qualys to detect and evaluate system security weaknesses
• Analyze scan outputs to prioritize vulnerabilities and generate clear, actionable reports for IT and business stakeholders
• Partner with cybersecurity and IT teams to create and implement remediation strategies
• Monitor and report on remediation progress, ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed within set timelines and compliance expectations
• Drive continuous improvements to scanning and reporting processes to strengthen the company’s security posture
  
  

Secondary Function – Access Hygiene and Compliance Enforcement

• Conduct routine assessments to ensure user access aligns with security and compliance policies
• Monitor and enforce role-based access and least privilege principles across systems and applications
• Provide accurate access data in support of internal and external compliance audits
• Collaborate on the development and refinement of access governance policies
  
  

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability management and access controls
• Hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management
• Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and industry frameworks (e.g., SOX, PCI)
• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure
• Degree or diploma in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset
