We’re looking for a Design Lead to define the design vision and elevate the brand as a global cultural icon. You’ll oversee all things creative — from visual identity and brand storytelling to experiential design — while building, managing, and inspiring a high-performing creative team.
As Design Lead, you will set the creative direction and lead execution across every channel and experience. You will oversee all design and branding efforts, shape the visual identity of events, and ensure creative excellence across every touchpoint — while leading a team of designers, art directors, and freelancers.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative & Brand Leadership: Define and evolve the brand identity, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance across all design assets and expressions.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary in-house and external creative team. Build a strong creative culture grounded in curiosity, taste, and execution.
- Campaigns & Content: Oversee the creative development of campaigns and content — from static and motion graphics to digital storytelling and merch design — in partnership with marketing, speakers, sponsorship, and experience teams.
- Experience Design: Translate the brand vision into immersive, high-impact physical and digital experiences across stages, installations, signage, and environments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, production, marketing, sponsorship, and external agencies to bring cohesive brand experiences to life.
- Creative Direction: Approve and guide design direction, ensuring high-quality visual output aligned with the brand ethos and event goals.
- Operations & Workflow: Establish clear creative processes, timelines, and workflows to ensure on-time delivery of all assets.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in creative direction, branding, or design — with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing creative teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional branding, digital, spatial, and/or experiential design work.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and scale creative teams, including hiring, mentoring, and team development.
- Deep understanding of culture, design, and storytelling — ideally with exposure to Web3, luxury, tech, media, or events.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
- Bonus: Experience in event production, fashion/lifestyle branding, or Web3/AI projects.
