Specialist, Time and Attendance

We are seeking a dedicated Time and Attendance Specialist to join our team of HR professionals in Jyväskylä, Rautpohja. If you are passionate about accuracy, efficiency, and ensuring smooth timekeeping processes, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Manage time and attendance system as a main user, ensuring accurate time and attendance processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers regarding timekeeping inquiries.
  • Organize and lead in-house trainings for specific groups such as managers.
  • Develop Valmet Finland’s time and attendance processes according to legislation, collective agreements, and local business needs.
  • Maintain employee records in time and attendance system.
  • Generate reports on attendance trends and compliance to support our HR and business.

What We Expect From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience as a Time and Attendance Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in timekeeping software and tools (experience from Nepton and Flexim at main user level are seeing as advantage).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) both in Finnish and in English.
  • Strong knowledge of Working hours Act and Finnish labor law and regulations.
  • Experience of payroll as well as project management skills are seen as advantage.
