Senior Solution Architect

Required Skills

• Minimum 12 years of experience working in system integrator environment up to a maximum of 16 years’ experience.
• Multiple Vendor Security Solution Specializations like Cisco/ Palo Alto / F5/ Fortinet / Checkpoint.
• Vendor Neutral Security certifications like CISSP/ GIAC would be an added advantage.
• Working experience with different industry verticals like Banking/ Transportation/ Public sector/ Education.
• Excellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the Qatar Security standards.
• Good understanding on networking systems, protocols, software and technologies including but not limited to Routers, Switches, WIFI networks, Load balancers, Firewalls, IP telephony systems, WAN technologies etc.
• Experience in designing, configuring and troubleshooting of multivendor security solutions
• Sound knowledge in diagnosing complex network performance issues and working with Network Monitoring systems, Wireshark, and other network troubleshooting/performance benchmarking techniques.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst/ Nexus Switches, and or ISR/ASR Routers, Wireless Controllers.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Good Management Skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and network practices in a constantly evolving environment.
• Highly motivated and dedicated, capable of working with little instruction to resolve demanding tasks in coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

1. To develop Security business and to meet security business targets
2. To engage with the customers for understanding the needs and build the security Solutions architecture that customer would accept based on their requirements and budget.
3. Study the existing Security solutions and design the new Security solutions
4. Prepare the High-level design document, presentations, proposals
5. Low level design of the security solutions and lead implementation when necessary
6. Handle Support escalations if required.
7. Ensure the Security Solution integration with other Network and Security solutions
8. Conducting regular integration meetings and workshops with Stakeholders
9. Oversee the deployment of Security Solutions by the Implementation engineers.
10. Coordinating and briefing a team of security engineers and assigning tasks.
11. Compiling and presenting reports to the customers when required.
