We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot our organization’s network infrastructure. You will ensure the stability and integrity of in-house and cloud-based network services, optimize performance, and maintain high availability across all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, outages, and latency problems.
- Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, etc.).
- Implement and enforce network security protocols, firewalls, and data encryption.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
- Maintain documentation related to network configurations, topology diagrams, and incident reports.
- Perform regular network performance tuning, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with IT and cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support disaster recovery and backup operations for network configurations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise networks.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Experience with configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and network security concepts.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
