DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient CI/CD infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in AWS, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Chef, Ansible), and robust experience with Git-based workflows. This is a fast-paced, critical role that supports both project and BAU delivery across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop, test, and deploy microservices in cloud-native environments using Kubernetes and containers.
• Implement and enforce secure DevOps practices including Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and security teams to identify system requirements.
• Utilize Git and GitHub Enterprise to manage branching strategies, merge requests, and deployment workflows.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and scalability through SRE principles and best practices
• Use tools such as Splunk for centralized logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Assist in identifying technical risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely manner.
• Document technical requirements, create runbooks, and maintain infrastructure diagrams and reports.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Git, Chef, Ansible, and Python.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices including CI, CD, CT, and CR in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Linux (RHEL) and Windows OS administration, networking, and infrastructure management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in secure systems design.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with distributed teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with iMac tools, CDK, and cloud-native DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of application-level security and governance best practices.
• Exposure to Blue-Green or Canary deployment strategies.
• Experience in large-scale banking or financial environments.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory):

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines with robust testing and release processes.
• Lead DevOps enablement across cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with infrastructure and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support infrastructure strategy, deployment workflows, and automation pipelines.
