The Opportunity

The agency is seeking a seasoned Platform Systems Program Manager to lead the delivery of a multi-year portfolio of strategic technology and business transformation initiatives. This role sits within the Technology and Platform Solutions Team and is central to uplifting infrastructure, cloud capabilities, and software development practices.

This is a senior leadership position requiring a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive delivery roadmap aligned with the agency’s technology strategy and funding framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex technical programs across infrastructure, cloud, and software domains.
• Develop and manage strategic delivery roadmaps aligned with organisational priorities.
• Engage and influence stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in delivery practices and technology adoption.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience leading large-scale technical delivery programs within government or regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proven ability to challenge conventional approaches and implement innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in structured and agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Prince2, AgilePM Practitioner).
• Solid technical foundation in Linux, containerisation, and infrastructure orchestration.
• Familiarity with the Australian Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Essential Eight mitigation strategies.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australian citizens and capable of obtaining an NV1 security clearance. Existing AGSVA Baseline Clearance or higher is highly desirable.
