Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking a proactive and dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team in New South Wales, reporting to our Head of Human Resources.


This role will empower the Human Resources Team by supporting the day-to-day HR functions and managing the vital administrative facets of the employee life cycle, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR processes.


Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:

  • Support the full recruitment and selection process, from job advertisement posting to candidate relationship management;
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring that they are provided the information required for a smooth and welcoming start to their employment journey with ASUS;
  • Assist with the offboarding process to create a seamless and professional experience that leaves a positive impact;
  • Assist with payroll preparation;
  • Maintain and update employee records with great attention to detail;
  • Help coordinate HR events, wellbeing initiatives and engagement activities that enhance employee connection and promote a supportive culture;
  • Monitor and track compliance initiatives, ensuring mandatory training and acknowledgements on HR processes, procedures, and policies are completed effectively;
  • Provide general HR administrative support as directed by management from time to time.


Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Human Resources role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and able to learn new system/platforms
  • Ability to prioritise tasks with good time management to ensure that project deadlines are met
  • Calm and solution-focused, with a high level of resilience to work under pressure or when handling sensitive matters
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and trustworthy manner
  • Great interpersonal skills reflected through being a team player, flexibility, adaptability, and exercising diplomacy when required
  • A "Can-Do" attitude and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
  • Proactive, collaborative and approachable
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
