We're currently supporting one of our key financial clients in their search for an experienced iOS Developer to join a dynamic mobile team. This team is at the heart of digital innovation, building user-friendly, secure and high-performing mobile solutions that impact millions of users.

Your Role
As a Senior iOS Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping and maintaining native mobile applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional squads including developers, analysts, designers, testers, and project leads to deliver top-tier mobile features. You'll ensure smooth integration with backend systems while maintaining best practices in security, code quality, and performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift (and optionally Objective-C)

  • Translate functional and technical requirements into high-quality features

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, incidents, and production issues

  • Collaborate with designers and UX specialists to bring concepts to life

  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests

  • Contribute to the technical documentation and development standards

  • Support the CI/CD process, working with tools like Jenkins and Fastlane

Your Profile

  • 6+ years of experience in iOS development

  • Excellent knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK

  • Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and coordinator patterns

  • Familiar with Git-based workflows (e.g. GitHub or Bitbucket)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

  • Comfortable working with third-party libraries and APIs

  • Awareness of mobile security concepts (e.g. SSL pinning, secure storage)

  • Knowledge of Xcode and Apple's release process

  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-driven

Soft Skills

  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal (English)

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter who thrives in an Agile environment

  • Collaborative team player, open to feedback and eager to learn

  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new challenges

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Objective-C

  • Familiarity with design systems or accessibility standards

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial sector

Work Setup

  • Long-term freelance assignment

  • Hybrid work model: 50% remote / 50% onsite (Wednesday = team day)

  • Location: Belgium
