Skinpal is a Swedish health‑tech startup on a mission to transform the lives of people battling skin conditions like TSW and eczema. Founded by Lukas who went through a life‑altering health collapse caused by Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW), Skinpal was born out of a desperate need for better support, data, and clarity.

Every day, millions struggle with eczema and the grueling process of TSW — trapped in a fragmented system filled with low trust and conflicting advice. Skinpal is changing that.

We’re building an AI‑powered skin health companion that helps users log symptoms, identify triggers through data, and connect safely within a moderated community. After growing into a viral patient movement, we’re now transitioning into a global platform, and we need you to help us code our future Skinpal app versions.

The Role

As a Developer Intern, you’ll work hands‑on with our CTO, contributing directly to the core architecture. This is a 6‑month internship designed to give you meaningful, end‑to‑end product experience, and if there’s a strong mutual fit, it can lead to a full‑time role after completion.

What we’re looking for

We want a motivated, detail‑oriented developer who writes clean, maintainable code and thrives in a fast‑moving, purpose‑driven environment.

Experience with (or curiosity about) the following will help you succeed:

• Mobile Development – React Native, Expo, EAS (iOS & Android), Xcode, Android Studio
• Languages – TypeScript; Swift or Kotlin is a plus
• Data & Backend – SQL/NoSQL databases, API integration (REST), familiarity with Firebase or Supabase
• DevOps & Tools – Git/GitHub version control, CI/CD pipelines
• Testing – Unit testing, especially with Jest
