Backend Developer (Node.js)

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to join a dynamic and innovative digital agency based in North Holland. As part of a creative, tech-driven team, you will work on high-impact projects and help build robust APIs that power real-world applications used by global brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring high availability and performance across applications.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS to build and deploy applications, incorporating Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CDK to automate infrastructure management and deployment pipelines.
• Architect and build high-performance APIs that integrate seamlessly with front-end systems, supporting real-time data processing and high-traffic applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
• Drive continuous improvements in the development process, code quality, and architecture, contributing to the team's adoption of best practices in scalable, maintainable software design.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with strong expertise in Node.js.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and building APIs.
• Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms (such as AWS);
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CDK;
• Passionate about creating high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• You are open to contributing to team development and guiding juniors.
