PHP Developer (Symfony) - eCommerce Platform Project (Open only for Romania based Applicants)

• Available via B2B or CIM
• For CIM, net salary range is 5000 to 6000 RON, depending on experience

Job Overview

We’re hiring a PHP developer with strong Symfony experience for a long-term collaboration on a custom-built eCommerce platform (think B2B commerce logic, custom pricing engines, and integrations, not off-the-shelf CMS work).You don’t need to know the underlying platform yet. You’ll go through a one-week paid onboarding, then move straight into the live project.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with PHP (mid to senior level)
• Proficient with the Symfony framework
• Understands MVC architecture, clean code practices, and dependency injection
• Familiar with Git, Docker basics, REST APIs
• English at a working level; the codebase and documentation are all in EN

Nice to have:

• Experience with custom-built eCommerce platforms or legacy PHP systems
• Comfort working in structured, sprint-based workflows

Selection Process:

• Peer review call with one of our engineers (technical deep dive, ~45 minutes)
• During the call, you’ll be asked to solve a small recursive logic task in live code
• This is the actual test — no take-home tasks, no multiple rounds

Onboarding & Project:

• 1-week paid onboarding to get familiar with the custom eCommerce platform
• You’ll then be assigned to the live project, working in a structured team setup
• Expect code reviews, CI pipelines, and clear requirements
