Position: Team Coach and SCRUM Consultant

Location: Numberg- Munich, Germany

Type: Full-time/80% Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as central contact and lead consultant for agile implementation
• Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
• Enable team maturity through practices such as retrospectives, workshops, and hands-on support
• Enhance collaboration across multiple teams (scaling)
• Implement and refine Kanban and Scrum frameworks
• Remove organizational and technical impediments
• Promote continuous improvement through metrics (WIP, lead time, cumulative flow, etc.)
• Support change initiatives using agile principles
  
  

Work Location

• ~80% Remote
• ~20% On-site presence in Nuremberg (occasionally in Munich)
• Travel costs only reimbursed if required to locations other than Nuremberg/Munich
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Certifications (Must-Have / A-Criteria)
  
  

The Candidate Must Possess Both

• Advanced Scrum Certification, e.g.:
• Professional Scrum Master III (scrum.org)
• CSP-SM (Scrum Alliance)
• ICE-AC (ICAgile)
• Advanced Kanban Certification, e.g.:
• Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP)
• Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT)
• Accredited Kanban Consultant (AKC)
  

Lower-level or alternative certifications (e.g., PSM II, TKP) are not accepted, even with practical experience.

• Experience
• Minimum of 200 person-days (PT) per reference project in Agile Coaching, with comparable responsibilities (team coaching, scaling, scrum master support)
• Must demonstrate this level of effort in at least two reference projects
• Experience in large-scale environments with >10 development teams is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with public-sector IT environments or similar complexity (e.g., BMFTR) is advantageous
• Compliance Knowledge (Informational Only)
• ISO 37301 compliance certification preferred
• Alternatively: ISO 9001 + internal compliance guidelines + published sustainability report (not mandatory)
• Language Skills Proficiency in German at B2 - C2 level is required
  
  

Team Composition

• The role may be shared by up to two part-time professionals
• However, each individual must independently meet all qualification requirements (certifications and experience)
  
  

Availability Requirements

• Consultants must be available on-demand (service-on-call model)
• Specific timing for task execution will be jointly defined with the client
• No immediate response obligation upon notification
• All delivery is based on functional needs
  
  

Project Timeline

• Certification programs must be started before offer submission
• Final certificates must be submitted no later than 2 weeks after contract award
  
  

Legal/Contractual Notes

• Non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is indefinite
• Freelance subcontractors are permitted under certain conditions, provided:
• No employment relationship with the client is created
• All coordination remains at the organizational level
• Liability is limited to one's own sphere of influence; no absolute guarantees required
