Project Manager C&I

Our client, a leading force in the Dutch renewable energy sector, is hiring a Project Manager to deliver high-profile C&I solar PV installations nationwide. The role offers full ownership of project execution, from permitting and planning to construction and handover. Ideal candidates combine technical expertise with sharp coordination skills and a solid track record in managing complex solar builds on time and within budget.

The Role:

• Lead execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects ranging from 50kW to multi-MW
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure timely delivery
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with Dutch regulatory and grid connection standards
• Conduct site visits, technical evaluations, and oversee construction progress
• Support permitting and grid application processes in collaboration with local authorities
• Maintain clear reporting and documentation throughout project phases
• Facilitate contract negotiations and change order management
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency

The Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience managing solar PV projects in the Netherlands (C&I focus preferred)
• Solid knowledge of solar systems, grid connection protocols, and construction methods
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Dutch permitting and grid compliance procedures
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related discipline
• PMP or similar certification is a plus
