We're currently looking for a Network Engineer to undertake an initial 6-month contract with further extension for one of our top-tier clients!

They are ideally looking for a engineer with strong experience in Cisco, SD-WAN & Network Automation.

Responsibilities:

Design, deplot and support Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions
Troubleshoot SDWAN, WAN, LAN and wireless network issues
Identitfy opportunities for network automation and process improvement
Develop and maintain network documentation and policies

Required experience:

10 + years in network engineering
3-4 years of hands-on experience with SD-WAN Viptela solutions
Certifications: Cisco CCNP or higher certification (CCIE preferred)
Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and technologies (MPLS, VPN)
Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, NAT, and threat prevention features.
Expertise in network automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.)
Experience with firewall technologies
Strong expertise and experience of routing and switching platforms (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus)
Experience in tuning / optimizing network monitoring, logging and anomaly detection tools such as Extrahop, Splunk, and Thousandeye
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
