Lead Agentic AI Scientist (m/f/x)

We’re seeking a visionary Lead Generative AI Scientist to drive breakthrough research and translate it into production-grade Agentic Generative AI and LLM systems. This role is centered around driving innovation in Generative AI and LLMs, guiding cross-functional teams, and translating cutting-edge research into scalable, production-grade solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, fine-tune, and deploy large-scale language models and generative architectures to power our next-generation AI products.
• Build and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion through model evaluation and inference.
• Work in small, highly-performing AI teams, collaborating closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver customer-facing solutions.
• Explore emerging inference optimization techniques for LLMs and diffusion models to push the boundaries of efficiency, latency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Set strategic research agendas, publish in top-tier conferences, and foster academic-industry partnerships.
• Mentor and grow a diverse, interdisciplinary team of AI researchers and engineers.
  
  

What Will Help You Succeed

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics; Master’s in AI, Machine Learning, or Computational Neuroscience; PhD or post-doctoral experience highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, or related fields, with a proven record of delivering both foundational research and deployed systems.
• Deep expertise in model evaluation, optimization, and scalable Machine Learning infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience translating complex research into actionable roadmaps and technical designs.
• Track record of academic publications or open-source contributions and collaborating with external research institutions.
• Strong programming experience in the following: Java, Python.

Compensation Data

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.   
• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 80,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
