Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to lead customer-facing engagements and technical consulting for enterprise network validation, automation, and upgrade initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in test development, lab simulation, and automation, with a strong understanding of networking standards and protocols. This role requires frequent collaboration with end clients to define technical needs, design validation plans, and ensure successful service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consulting & Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to end clients, consulting on network design validation, platform assessments, and upgrade/downgrade strategies.
• Domain Expertise: Lead validation efforts for customer network designs, software versions, and platform configurations, including MoP (Method of Procedure) execution.
• Test Planning & Execution: Define, document, and manage test requirements and cases in close coordination with client teams.
• Lab Simulation: Design and emulate customer network environments using traffic generators and lab infrastructure to replicate real-world scenarios.
• Automation & Reporting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the ROBOT Framework. Execute tests and deliver detailed, actionable reports to stakeholders.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve issues identified during validation.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all validation and delivery activities align with SVS (Service Validation Standards) and contribute to enhancing automation in service delivery.
• Business Development Support: Support pre-sales and renewal discussions by providing technical input and demonstrating the value of SVS offerings to prospective and existing clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, validation, or test automation.
• Strong experience with traffic generators and lab-based network simulation.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks such as ROBOT, Python scripting is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) and common hardware/software platforms.
• Experience collaborating directly with enterprise clients or in consulting roles is highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
