Financial Business Analyst
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Financial Business Analyst to support our team in Singapore.
This is a 12 months renewable contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and industry trends and work closely with front office business users to understand needs.
- Be involved in the full product lifecycle, from defining the product vision and planning through development, launch and post-launch enhancements.
- Assist in prioritization of features and tasks. Track and review the product direction frequently, and measure performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, technology leads, and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and data teams.
- Work with peer teams on multidiscipline projects and front-office and back-office initiatives.
- Drive best practices and ensure the highest quality and standards are applied.
- Ensure dynamic, incremental, and continuous delivery of the product that brings value to the business in an agile and sustainable manner.
- Interact with financial institutions, international banks and brokers, vendors and solution providers for new business requirements/initiatives.
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
- A good team player who is independent, keen to learn, has strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the financial industry (either in Public Markets, or Private Markets), IT project management, software development, business analysis, and/or product management.
- Hands on experience in conducting business analysis functions, product discovery, stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning.
- Good understanding of design principles and user experience (UX) design, and able to work effectively with designers in prototyping and translating ideas into effective business solutions.
- Hands-on experience in working with teams that operate in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in production support of front office applications is an added advantage.
