Are you an experienced Program Officer or Program Manager seeking your next opportunity in the APS? Our Public Sector Strategy and Support team at Hays Canberra is currently seeking expressions of interest from high-performing professionals with a background in program delivery, program coordination, program officer program management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.

With the new financial year underway, we are anticipating a surge in demand across multiple Federal Government departments for skilled candidates at the APS4 to EL2 levels. These roles offer the chance to contribute to high-impact programs that shape national outcomes.

Key Areas of Demand:

• Program and project management and coordination
• Program reporting
• Stakeholder and contract management
• Risk and compliance monitoring
• Strategic planning and policy implementation
• Secretariat and governance support

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Recent experience in the Australian Public Service (APS) in a program position
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

These positions are only open to Australian Citizens, and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
