Information Technology Risk Manager

Our client, a leading financial services company, is hiring a Technology Risk Manager for a key role in their business. This role involves advising IT leadership on risk management, designing and monitoring risk, control, and compliance frameworks, and overseeing IT audit activities. This is a flexible hybrid arrangement with one day a week in their offices in south Dublin.

Your Role:

• Lead Technology Risk reporting to executive leadership, committees, and regulators.
• Build strong relationships with auditors, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee and support Line 2, Line 3, external, and regulatory IT audits.
• Manage IT control testing and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Provide strategic advice on technology risks, assessments, and remediation plans.

What You Need:

• 5+ years’ experience in Technology Risk, IT Governance, or IT Audit.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (Change Management, Logical Access, IT Operations).
• Experience with third-party outsourcing and stakeholder management.
• Certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP) are a plus.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Information Systems, Risk, or Business.
