Join the front lines of cyber defense at one of Belgium’s top banks! We’re looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer with strong experience in threat intelligence, incident response, and cyber risk management to join the Security Operations Center (SOC).

Your Role

As part of the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team within SOC, you’ll:

• Monitor, investigate & respond to security incidents (T1–T3 level)
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging threats, threat actors & campaigns
• Maintain & improve security tools (SIEM, EPP, EDR)
• Perform penetration testing & vulnerability assessments
• Document, assess & track security breaches and risks
• Support use case development and detection rule improvements
• Present actionable threat intelligence to internal stakeholders
• Analyze adversary tactics using MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, etc.
• Collaborate with CSIRT and CERT teams to enhance overall response

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, ideally within a SOC
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cyber risk management
• Information & network security
• Vulnerability management
• Log analysis & SIEM tools
• Encryption & cryptography
• Familiarity with threat intel models (MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model)
• Skilled in scripting, regular expressions & packet capture analysis
• Clear, structured communication across technical and non-technical audiences

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual abilities
• Security-first mindset with great prioritization skills
• Team player with strong stakeholder management experience
• Clear, confident communicator
