Project Lead

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Project Lead to join our team. The Project is based on our Helsinki site in Finland.

Reporting to: Project Director

Duties

• Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets
• Manage Sub Contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants
• Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip
• Review construction proposals and related pricing & scopes
• Run and lead client & other required meetings
• Monitor & identify factors that influence construction costs to create report on this data
• Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment
• Review, validate and audit cost estimates prepared by sub-contractors and others within a client's organization
• Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction
• Track and ensure equipment is available as per the project schedule
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project
• Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments

• Oversee and manage the transfer of the construction to the client including all close out documentation and warranties

• Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
