Job Opportunity: Senior UI Designer

Role Overview:

Join the our team and help shape digital experiences for millions of retail banking customers worldwide. As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating high-quality user interface designs for the UK public website. Working closely with product managers, developers, analysts, UX writers and designers, you'll deliver user-centered, responsive and accessible solutions that align with our's design system and brand identity.

Location: Cracow, hybrid model (office visits 2 times per week)

English: B2

Responsibilities

• Design moodboards, sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes and UI specifications
• Translate business requirements into customer-centric design outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, UX, content, business stakeholders) to drive design from concept to execution
• Present design work clearly and effectively to stakeholders and advocate for design decisions
• Ensure consistency and coherence across global platforms
• Contribute to user-centered design practices with a strong focus on responsive web experiences
• Support and shape global design standards through close collaboration with design teams in other markets

Requirements

• A strong design portfolio demonstrating UI work and design thinking
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience designing responsive web products for desktop and mobile
• Knowledge of atomic design, design systems and design tokens
• Ability to quickly turn ideas into high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to user needs and business context
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to explain and defend design decisions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel projects
• Experience collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams
• A degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience is preferred
