Backend Developer

We are looking for a backend developer for our client which is a startup tech company in UAE.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in backend development
  • Proficiency in Java and microservices architecture
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (especially Git)
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Java profiling and JVM memory management


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Experience with clean code principles, code reviews, and refactoring
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
  • Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus
