We are looking to build a team of 5X Backend Developers to join a world leading Technology Organization, based in the UAE (Dubai).

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Backend Developer with a strong background in Oracle 12c, Java, and web technologies to help design, develop, and maintain our backend systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle 12c as a backend system, Java programming, and familiarity with PL/SQL. Knowledge of Spring Boot or Jersey, WebLogic, RESTful APIs, encryption, and JSON-based payloads is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oracle 12c Integration: Develop and optimize backend systems using Oracle 12c. Ensure database design and implementation are efficient and scalable.
• Java Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code to build robust backend services and applications.
• PL/SQL Programming: Utilize PL/SQL for stored procedures, functions, and triggers to enhance database functionality (preferred but not mandatory).
• Spring Boot/Jersey Framework: Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot or Jersey frameworks to build scalable and reliable services.
• WebLogic Administration: Configure, deploy, and manage applications on WebLogic Server to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• RESTful API Development: Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services and external systems.
• Encryption Implementation: Implement encryption techniques to secure data in transit and at rest, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• JSON Payload Management: Handle JSON-based payloads effectively; convert documents into binary formats as required for specific use cases.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Oracle 12c, Java, and related technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Oracle 12c and database management.
• Strong experience with Java programming.
• Familiarity with PL/SQL is a plus.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Jersey frameworks.
• Knowledge of WebLogic Server administration.
• Proven expertise in developing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of encryption standards and implementation.
• Ability to handle JSON-based payloads and binary document formats.
