Network Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking concepts and solid knowledge of Cisco technologies. Certification in CCNA or CCNP is a strong plus. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Support the implementation and management of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other IT team members on network design and project rollouts.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Apply network security measures to protect data and systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Provide support for network-related service requests and incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
• Solid understanding of Cisco technologies and networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching).
• CCNA certification is preferred; CCNP is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
