For one of our clients, an insurance company based in Zurich, we are looking for candidates for the position of Business/Data Analyst/in who will be responsible for analysing KPIs.


Your focus will be on evaluating and enhancing customer performance through collecting, maintaining, automating, modelling, and forecasting our customer KPIs. Leveraging automation and AI will be key to streamlining processes, enabling deeper insights, and driving impactful action.These KPIs are essential for guiding our global business decisions and improving how we meet customer needs. A robust, systematic approach ensures we deliver accurate, timely KPIs aligned with our business calendar. By working closely with local and regional teams, this role provides clear visibility of targets and performance, ensuring customer insights shape our strategies and actions.

Contract duration: 6 months (temp with Hays)

Responsibilities:

  • Champion customer-focused insights to drive action and support the organization through training and guidance
  • Lead the automation and AI-driven transformation of KPI reporting and insights, designing requirements and outputs in line with business needs
  • Manage all aspects of Customer KPI data: collection, maintenance, forecasting, and automated reporting for business reviews, action planning, target setting, HR, Finance, Investor Relations, and ad hoc requests
  • Translate analytic insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Ensure seamless and accurate automated data delivery between internal platforms
  • Conduct forecasting, scenario planning, and modelling to anticipate changes and support business decisions
  • Integrate customer KPIs with financial data, using advanced analytics and AI tools to strengthen business relevance
  • Maintain a systematic, accessible KPI database for stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain an annual calendar of Customer KPI reporting reflecting business processes, key decision points and business investment impacting KPI performance
  • Stay current with best practices in customer metrics, automation, AI, and analytics


Qualification:

  • Passion for data analysis, automation, and actionable insights tailored to stakeholder requirements
  • Several years in analytics translating numbers to business implications, with proven experience managing customer KPIs
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven automated processes and reporting solutions
  • Advanced skills in data tools (Excel, SPSS, or equivalent) and statistical analysis (e.g., modeling, correlation)
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy avoiding errors
  • Experience working in global, cross-cultural environments
  • Demonstrated ability to link customer and financial data for business impact
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g., in business studies/administration, research, data science, psychology, behaviour science, customer or change management)
  • Fluent in English
