Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and maintain robust data warehouse systems and big data platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools, strong Java development skills and a solid understanding of ETL processes and Web3 data needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient data warehouse systems to support business needs such as data analysis and reporting needs and more
- Build, operate, and optimize big data platforms (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Spark, etc.)
- Develop and maintain data processing services and backend business systems using Java
- Construct and maintain ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
- Optimize data storage and query performance, enhance system stability and scalability
- Collaborate with data analysis and blockchain development teams to support Web3 project data requirements
- Write relevant technical documentation, maintain architecture diagrams, data flow documentation, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in data warehouse development and big data platform operations
- Familiar with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, HBase, Hive, Spark, etc.)
- Solid Java programming skills with the ability to independently develop backend systems
- Familiar with common SQL and data modelling design (e.g., HiveQL)
- Good understanding of Web3 concepts such as smart contracts, tokens, and on-chain data structures is advantageous
- Proficient in Linux systems and Shell scripting, with strong troubleshooting skills
- Professional-level Chinese proficiency for seamless stakeholder communication.
