Android Developer

As our Senior Android Developer, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, analysts, UX/UI designers, testers, product owners, and scrum masters to:

• Design & Develop: Translate functional specs into scalable technical designs, build new features in Kotlin, and maintain existing code.
• Quality Assurance: Create and execute test cases; perform self and peer code reviews; resolve incidents and defects through to closure.
• CI/CD & Releases: Implement and maintain build pipelines (Jenkins, shell scripts, Docker); manage Android release processes (Google Play, certificates, ProGuard/DexGuard).
• Integration & Security: Ensure seamless integration with back-end systems via REST APIs; uphold security guidelines and best practices.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Update design documents to reflect changes; drive technical integration testing with interfacing applications; champion Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
  

What are we looking for?

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Android Expertise: ?4 years with Android SDK (API versioning, architecture patterns, styling).
• Kotlin Proficiency: Deep understanding of Kotlin features and idioms.
• Toolchain Mastery: Android Studio, debugging tools, ProGuard/DexGuard.
• CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Jenkins (pipelines, scripting), Docker images, and automated build/release workflows.
• Version Control: Strong Git/GitHub or Bitbucket skills.
• Testing & QA: Test-driven mentality; experience writing and executing test plans and cases

• Spring Boot or other Java back-end frameworks.
• Mobile testing platforms (e.g., AppCenter, ExperiTest).
• Android libraries: Retrofit, Moshi, Koin, Dagger
• Familiarity with continuous deployment strategies and mobile performance profiling tools.
