WE ARE LOOKING FOR ANDROID BUILD OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER
We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Android Build Optimization Engineer with strong Python skills and a deep understanding of build systems like Gradle and Maven.
You’ll work closely with developers and DevOps to analyze and optimize build performance, set up improved build flows, and support CI/CD tooling enhancements.
This role is a key part of improving developer velocity, streamlining delivery, and shaping internal tooling strategies.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled international team that values low hierarchy, transparency, and practical collaboration.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Android Build Optimization Engineer with strong Python skills and a deep understanding of build systems like Gradle and Maven.
You’ll work closely with developers and DevOps to analyze and optimize build performance, set up improved build flows, and support CI/CD tooling enhancements.
This role is a key part of improving developer velocity, streamlining delivery, and shaping internal tooling strategies.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled international team that values low hierarchy, transparency, and practical collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Gradle and Kotlin
- Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
- Proven track record of build system optimization and tooling improvements
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with development teams
- Good communication skills in English Previous experience with Linux is a plus
- Python scripting skills is a plus
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze and improve existing build configurations and workflows
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize build times
- Set up and maintain new build flows and supporting tooling
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps to align build processes with project needs
- Ensure reliability and efficiency across build and CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to the evolution of internal development infrastructure and automation
