Senior Data Analyst

As a team we develop and maintain future proof and compliant structural information solutions and dashboards for W&R (Wholesale & Rural), aiming for one truth and one overview products that will bring cohesive and efficient information to the business to make positive impact on preventing Financial Economic Crime.

You and your job

As Senior Data Analyst you work in a team that is situated in a rapid changing and challenging environment (i.e. external regulatory demands, new innovations, compliance requirements). We expect you to bring your senior experience to guide team members in building new data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders and align with the vision of our Data & Insights team within the Financial & Economic Crime Department. You share your experience and knowledge with the team on how to manage stakeholders effectively, to gather and define requirements for the new to be build data solutions, to anticipate on needs of the business and foresee potential risks. Together as a team you deliver new, valuable data solutions according to the scrum framework.

PracticalExamples

• Build future proof data solutions (i.e. dashboard) according to the technical requirements based on the business needs.
• Maintain, simplify and enhance existing dashboards to increase efficiency.
• Bring an overarching vision and viewpoint on data products to ensure that we create valuable and sustainable data solutions.

• Translation of business needs into adequate development requirements and eventually data solutions in the form of dashboard.
• Ensure maintenance and development of the squad data products into future proof and compliant solutions.
• Guide and influence the team members towards the vision of the Area. Also to share your expertise with other team members.

You and your talent

• Bachelor or Master Degree
• Experienced in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Phyton,R
• Proven experience with Power BI (modelling data, using story telling to help the end user to understand, eye for design and UI)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with working Agile/Scrum
• Result-oriented, have can-do mentality
• Strong analytical skills, ability to learn quickly to understand complex topics
• Team player: you are able to work with others well to deliver value to our organization
• Able to think ahead and to take initiative to improve and optimize
• Can communicate in English and Dutch
