UX/UI Designer

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our corporate client, who is in the insurance space.

This fulltime contract will be for 5+ months, onsite Tuesday, Weds and Thursday in Downtown Toronto. Remote on Mondays and Fridays.

This role will focus on designing dashboards and applications tailored for different user groups: end users, team leaders and engineers.

You'll work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure that AI outputs are accessible, actionable, and visually intuitive.

Typical Day in Role

• Design and helping builds three user interfaces: for different audiences and users.
• Designing applications using Power BI for data visualization and Power Apps for interactive workflows
• Collaborating with AI engineers to integrate model outputs into user-friendly formats.
• Ensuring UI components are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across devices.
• Translating business requirements into intuitive design elements and workflows.
• Conducting usability testing and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders.
  
  

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in enterprise or data-driven environments.
• Experience using Power BI and Power Apps
• Understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
