Country Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-driven Country Manager to lead their market expansion and revenue growth strategy in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Singapore. This is a senior leadership position responsible for the localized execution of AI-powered tools across the automotive and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Execution

• Localize and implement marketing initiatives tailored for regional needs (e.g., right-hand-drive vehicle campaigns, Muslim culture alignment).
• Deliver quarterly commercial performance targets, including:
• $1M+ in quarterly contract value
• 15%+ month-on-month GMV growth per store

Client Ecosystem Development

• Acquire and manage key accounts by deploying AI livestreaming solutions, with the goal of:
• Lead acquisition cost under $20
• 80%+ product usage rate
• Build and manage a network of over 1,000 dealers to standardize adoption among small and mid-sized clients, achieving:
• 25%+ in-store lead conversion rate
• 15%+ GMV growth within 6 months

Regional Risk Management

• Establish a rapid cultural compliance response mechanism (resolution within 24 hours).
• Maintain strong relationships with government agencies and platform providers to capitalize on policy advantages and regional incentives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 8+ years of marketing leadership experience in Southeast Asia, with direct team management of 50+ cross-functional staff (tech and marketing). Automotive sector background preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Southeast Asian cultural norms, legal frameworks, and real-world execution in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
• C-level connections with platforms like TikTok and YouTube are a strong plus.
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in any Southeast Asian language is preferred.
