We are looking for a parttime Senior UI Designer to play a crucial role in the digital transformation of a leading organization. This organization manages high-voltage networks and is an essential part of the European electricity system. With the recent introduction of UX researchers and UI designers to the IT team, the focus is shifting from system-centric to user-centric work. This ensures that products effectively reach their target audience and maximize operational efficiency.

Your Mission

As an experienced professional, you will play a crucial role in the digitalization of safety-related workflows and planning processes. You will help replace legacy tools and ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.

You will work in a multidisciplinary Agile team, collaborating closely with UX designers, developers, and business analysts. You will take on more complex design projects and have a significant say in the overall design strategy. You will contribute to the design system, validate new components, and provide constructive feedback on others' work.

Your Tasks

• In collaboration with UX researchers, and using our Figma design system, you will create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
• You will present your ideas, concepts, and solutions to various stakeholders.
• You will communicate design concepts and prototypes to Product Owners, UX Designers, and developers.
• You will organize and lead ideation workshops with stakeholders, UX designers, and end-users.
• You will define the right interaction model and evaluate its success based on measurable criteria.
• You will create storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• You will actively contribute to broader UX team activities, such as feedback sessions and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in UI Design, Interaction Design, and Information Architecture in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of UI patterns, design principles, and visual design.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• An expert in design software such as Figma and Miro.
• You use and contribute to the organization's design system.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A compelling portfolio that showcases your design projects and problem-solving abilities is required.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS, with an understanding of how designs are translated into code.
