Software Engineer - Python

Key Qualification

• BS degree in CS or related field
• 5+ years of of hands-on software engineering experience (Medior)
• Strong core experience in Python
• Knowledge of the REST API and GraphQL principles and best practices
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools
• Experience with RDS and object relational mapping, integrations with other APIs, Git distributed version control system
• Ability to scope and estimate project requirements, and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to drive a project from idea to implementation
• Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills
• Strong analytical capabilities for identifying and resolving engineering tradeoffs
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
• Experience in reactive programming is a plus
• Fluent in spoken and written English
