Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Eindhoven - ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Eindhoven.

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust embedded software using Python and C
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define system-level requirements and translate them into software specifications
• Debug, refactor, and optimize legacy code to improve performance and maintainability
• Act as a key interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Drive technical decisions and ensure long-term software sustainability
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation efforts
• Solve complex problems independently and creatively

Your Profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong background in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field
• Deep knowledge of Python and C, especially in embedded contexts
• Experienced in the high-tech industry
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic about debugging, testing, refactoring, and solving technical puzzles
