Vallum are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing renewable energy investor focused on distributed energy solutions, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV, AgriPV, and battery storage systems across Germany. As a Technical Project Manager, you'll be at the center of the company’s project development and execution efforts, helping commercial and industrial clients deploy clean energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design, layout, and modelling of solar and storage systems.
- Support project development from origination to commissioning, including technical due diligence, risk assessments, and partner selection.
- Provide input for business cases and financial models, focusing on performance optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Manage technical aspects of construction, inspection, warranty claims, and O&M.
- Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to craft compelling proposals and meet client needs.
- Monitor and analyze performance of operational solar assets; drive technical improvements and reporting standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years in solar PV or renewable energy development, ideally with experience in C&I solar or technical consultancy.
- Engineering background with a deep understanding of solar technologies.
- Strong modeling and analytical skills; Excel proficiency is essential.
- Experience managing technical aspects of project lifecycles, including design, procurement, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with technical contracts and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site-related work.
