STEP Developer

Shape the Future of Master Data at Nobia

We are looking for an MDM STEP Developer who is passionate about building structured, high-quality data solutions that empower better customer experiences and smarter business decisions. At Nobia, Europe's leading kitchen specialist, we’re on an exciting transformation journey—and data is at the heart of it.

This role plays a key part in supporting and developing our Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, focusing on STEP as our core MDM platform. You will contribute to harmonized business processes and a global SAP template that supports our "One Company" agenda—enabling smarter operations across Europe.

As an MDM STEP Developer, you will:

• Support the build and roll out of STEP as Nobia’s primary MDM system
• Design solutions aligned with our application development road map to ensure security, scalability, and fit-for-purpose systems
• Develop STEP configurations and enhancements based on business requirements using core application components and clean, concise code
• Collaborate with the Lead Architect to shape the future of our product data platform, including PIM and DAM
• Design and maintain product data interfaces, data models, data upload processes, and maintenance workflows
• Understand and document data flows from source to consumer systems
• Ensure data cleaning, validation, and integrity to maintain high-quality data
• Work closely with analytics and business stakeholders to identify needs and prioritize development
• Be an advocate for strong data foundations within the organization
  
  

We’re looking for someone who:

• Brings strong technical skills in Java or JavaScript, XML, and JSON
• Understands data integration with downstream systems and is detail-oriented about information design
• Has experience with data profiling, data mapping, and quality rules development in STEP
• Is fluent in English
