Contract Mobile QA Engineer (6 Months)

We're hiring a Senior Mobile QA Engineer for a 6-month remote contract to help elevate the quality of our cross-platform e-commerce experience. You’ll lead manual and automated testing across mobile and web, with a strong focus on Playwright + TypeScript automation and mobile QA.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Own testing for our mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications
• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright + TypeScript
• Manually verify new features, regressions, and edge cases in fast-moving Agile sprints
• Test complex GraphQL and REST APIs
• Build and maintain mobile automation using tools like Appium, Maestro, or similar
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to ensure smooth releases
• Use Jira for issue tracking and TestRail for test case management
• Integrate with GitHub Actions and cloud environments on AWS

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of professional QA experience
• Deep experience in the e-commerce domain
• Strong manual testing for web and mobile platforms
• Proficient in GraphQL and REST API testing
• Proven automation skills with Playwright + TypeScript
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Maestro)
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub Actions, Jira, and TestRail
• Comfortable working with AWS-based test environments

💡 Bonus Points

• Magento 2 experience
• Performance and/or security testing background
• ISTQB certification
