Software Project Manager

Project Manager 50 – 100% (m/f/d) – / Software Development / Hermes / SCRUM /

Project / Role:

As part of the strategic in-house development of a new version of a software application, our client is looking for an experienced external project manager (924330WS) to initialize and optionally implement this security-relevant core system.

Tasks:

• Management of project initialization according to HERMES 2022 (agile)
• Requirements gathering, process analysis and story mapping (together with Lead BA)
• Planning of subsequent phases (releases, team structure, architecture)
• Development of decision-making bases and preparations for implementation
• Overall responsibility for project management during the implementation phase (optional)
• Leading the implementation team in close cooperation with the PO and the development team
• Ensuring documentation and delivery of results in English
• Final report and handover into operation

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in managing complex, agile IT projects in the federal administration
• In-depth knowledge of the HERMES methodology (certified or proven in reference projects)
• Knowledge of process analysis, requirements management and system migration
• Familiar with data protection, IT security and federal interface architecture
• Excellent communication skills in English and good knowledge of German and French
